What is a Slot?

In gambling, a slot machine is a casino game that gives players the opportunity to win credits by matching symbols on reels. Different slot machines have different payouts, with some having jackpots or other special features. In Dialog Engine, a slot can be mapped to a specific value by clicking the Add Slot Type link in the Bot Builder. Then select a slot type from the list, or choose Custom to create a new regular expression. For example, a travel bot may require location slot types for cities or airport codes.
